Looks nice, I have played with the Dell Streak and found it wanting, Samsung’s mini tablet will be shipped with Froyo (2.2) which will make a difference – Dell shipped with 1.6 which is ahem a little out of date. Looking at the video it has a front facing camera which have not been prominent on HTC Android devices this coupled with the 7.7″ screen make it (even) more web friendly, Skype works better with video. Flash will also feature heavily no doubt on the advert front with the 2.2 version of Android having this built in.

It’s down for release on the 2nd September.

AppBrain over Market is a case in point. The AppBrain pushes the software to your phone or tablet with the Fast Web Installer app so you can browse choose and install from the computer your are using then when you pickup the phone its ready for you. The best of the list? Google Maps and Navigation which really do work – as long as you have data cover This comes with Places! which is not mentioned but based on your location will give you a choice of restaurants, fuel stations, camp sites, cashpoints (ATM’s) and anything else you search for. It will then let you look at reviews or ratings and navigate to them for you. It shows how far away you are and using the compass the heading.
